Why Musical Bingo Feels Like a Family Reunion
Last night at Musical Bingo, strangers became besties, old friends became frenemies (over whether Elvis counts as a one-named singer—he does), and winners? Too many to count. 🎶🏆 (check out the photo gallery on our home page)
With rounds like Mashups, One-Named Singers, and 90s Favorites, the crowd was massive, the energy was wild, and nothing brought people together faster than belting out Livin’ La Vida Loca at full volume.
In Hawaii, we don’t just sing—we oli. Traditional Hawaiian chant was no trivial way to tell stories, pass down history, and bring people together, kind of like what happened last night (but with more liquor and less sacred tradition).
Because Hawaii isn’t just about where we are—it’s about who we’re with. And if last night proved anything, it’s that the spirit of Aloha is alive, well, and occasionally off-key. 🎤✨
See you at the next one. Bring your game face—and maybe some earplugs. 😆🎶
